The design of Peninsula Room uses a monochromatic scheme that functions as a blank canvas where event themes can be imprinted and interchanged. The space, capable of seating 1200 people, is part of Central Pier, a complex of refurbished shipping warehouses in Melbourne’s Docklands. The interior utilises the original elements of the historic shed warehouse, featuring the exposed metal truss roof structure and giant timber sliding doors. Peninsula Room also boasts the longest chandelier in the southern hemisphere, at 66 meters long. Truly a venue larger than life!
