What is the ‘big (IDEA)’ behind this project?
Squash Me is a new style of lounge chair which uses squash balls as the seat’s suspension. Squash Me is made from renewably grown, Australian hoop pine ply, supported by a metal frame. The 13 balls create a unique sitting experience.
A driving idea behind Squash Me is the reuse of everyday objects. The chair gives objects a new function in a playful way.
